Dr Jeremy Chrisp is a biotechnology entrepreneur with extensive experience in commercialisation of Australian life-science technologies for the global market. He has a particular interest in the advancement of pioneering and practice changing therapeutics and medical device technologies. His approach includes the creation of compelling datasets that support a clearly defined value proposition; defining a competitive positioning strategy; presenting a persuasive investment pitch; together with the establishment of an effective management team. Importantly, this includes creating and managing scientific advisory boards.
Dr Chrisp founded Chrisp & Associates in 2001 as a management consulting company specialising in all aspects of the Australian biotechnology industry. He has raised start-up capital; acquired and divested businesses; registered new intellectual property; in-licensed and out-licenced intellectual property globally; engaged with regulatory authorities; sponsored or supported Phase 1, 2 and 3 therapeutic intervention clinical trials, including diagnostic trials.
Dr Chrisp has a PhD in physiology from the University of Canterbury (NZ) and a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). He is a Fellow of the AICD.
Dr Chrisp has more than 30 years of experience in the Australian healthcare market, initially working with leading global multinational companies, including Merck & Co, Stryker, Becton Dickinson & Medtronic.
